THE SKULK

The Landlord – Scott Malaugh
Scott opened the doors of The Fox & Anchor on November 2007. He has been at The helm ever since. He says “The Fox has and still is breaking new ground in the pub world. What we offer is great British hospitality in its simplest form. Nothing is too fussy. It’s a kind of elbows and crumbs & breads to mop up type of place, a month of Sundays really. It’s the kind of place that you can come to any day of the week and be treated like you are in local in your home town and that’s everyone, not just our regulars. Great hospitality & service is the most important thing to our guests and hopefully we deliver that to all.”
If you wish to get in touch with Scott you can email him at, smalaugh@foxandanchor.com

Sandro Rupp - The Right Hand Man

Sandro Rupp - The Right Hand Man
Born in Barcelona of a Spanish father and Swiss mother Sandro grew up in Cape town SA and has been working in pubs, restaurants most of his professional career, even The Famous Lords cricket ground, but that was just for free tickets. Sandro was part of the opening team of The Fox in its current form and has been charming the diners and boozers of the area ever since. If the Landlord of the pub is supposed to be the face of his or her establishment then Sandro is definitely the body…But you be the judge of that!!
If you wish to reach Sandro you can email him at sandro.rupp@foxandanchor.com

The Team.
“The team are the backbone of our operation” says Scott. “We are only as good as the worst member of the team and its difficult to say we have on. From Head chef Anton, the supervisors Michal & Trevor, the kitchen team and yes all the Foxy Ladies and Foxy Geezas that tend to the needs of the thirsty and hungry of Smithfield, I would truly take my hat off to them if I had one, they are the ones who make it all happen”
